Lemongrass Essential Oil is derived from the steam distillation of the fresh or partly dried lemongrass leaves. Lemongrass is known by the scientific names Cymbopogoncitratus or Andropogoncitratus. Lemongrass oil ranges in color from bright, yellow to dark yellow liquid. and exudes a strong, sharp, fresh grassy lemon type, herbaceous tea like odour.
